Series
66 Axivane Fans:
Description: Compact
direct drive unit for low volume, low pressure applications.
Typical Applications: Conference room exhaust, office buildings, schools,
factories, warehouses, spot ventilation, projection room and
computer facility cooling equipment, darkroom exhaust, filtering
systems.
Fixed-Pitch Axial-Flow Fans:
Description:
Axial-flow fans with discharge vanes (Vaneaxial) or without discharge
vanes (Tubeaxial).
Typical Applications: Supply air for ventilation or air conditioning
of ships, buildings, vehicular tunnels, motors, etc. and for
combustion systems. Exhaust air from spraybooths.
Mixed-Flow Ventilating Fans; Bi-Flo, Anguline
and Dual Anguline:
Description:
Axial-flow inlet with several discharge options. Discharge can
be set up for axial or 90 degrees from axial.
Typical Applications: Supply and exhaust air for ventilation or air conditioning
of ships, buildings, vehicular tunnels, motors, etc., and for
combustion systems. Used where relatively low noise signatures
in a very compact space are required.
Adjustable-Pitch Axial-Flow Fans:
Description:
Adjustable-Pitch bladed, axial-flow fan with integrated discharge-straightening
vanes.
Typical Applications: Supply and exhaust air for ventilation or air
conditioning of ships, buildings, vehicular tunnels, motors,
etc., and for combustion systems.
Controllable-Pitch Axial-Flow Fans:
Description:
Axial-flow fans with discharge vanes and variable-pitch bladed
that can be controlled while fan is operating.
Typical Applications: Supply and exhaust air for ventilation or air
conditioning of ships, buildings, vehicular tunnels, motors,
etc. and for combustion systems.
Belt-Drive
Propeller Fans:
Description:
Propeller fans complete with motor and belt drive. Various wheel
designs.
Typical Applications: Ventilation of commerical and industrial spaces.
Attic ventilation. Equipment ventilation.
Direct-Drive
Propeller Fans:
Description:
Direct-drive propeller fans complete with motor. Various wheel
designs.
Typical Applications: Ventilation of commerical and industrial spaces.
Spot ventilation. Equipment ventilation.
Ultra-Low-Noise Propeller Fan:
Description:
Propeller fan complete with motor. Ultra-low-noise wheel design;
lowest noise levels in the industry.
Typical Applications: Ventilation of commerical and industrial spaces
where low noise is critical; for example, parking garages, factories
in residential zones. Ideally suited for retrofit noise reduction
application.
Exhaust-Only Roof Ventilators:
Description:
Curb mounted exhaust fans with clamshell dampers and windbands.
Either low silhouette propeller (So-Low) or standard height axial-flow
(AF).
Typical Applications: Exhaust ventilation of industrial spaces.
Supply or Exhaust Roof Ventilators:
Description:
Propeller or axial-flow fan in a curb-mounted stack with a mushroom-type
weather hood.
Typical Applications: Supply or exhaust ventilation of industrial spaces.
Cooling
Fans:
Description:
Axial-flow fan for large air columns and low pressures. Standard
and low-noise designs. SX has the lowest noise levels in the
industry.
Typical Applications: Cooling towers for steam generating plants. Process
coolers. Heat exchangers. Air-cooled condensers. Air-conditioning
equipment.
Unducted
Impulse Fans; Jet Fans:
Description:
Specifically developed vaneaxial with high thrust to power ration
available in uni-directional and reversible forms. Incorporating
cylindrical silencers at either end.
Typical Applications: Longitudinal ventilation in tunnels and underground
spaces. Smoke removal in case of fire.
Navy
and Maritime Fans:
Description:
Navy fans confirm to the requirements of militar specification
MI-F-18953B for axial fans and MIL-F-24751 for vaneaxial fans
used in gas turbine enclosure cooling. Maritime fans conform
to Maritime Administration Plans No. 38-1-102 for axial fans
and No. 38-1-103 for propeller fans. Various commerical designs
are available for other marine service.
Mine Fans and Tunnel Fans:
Description:
Axial-flow fan with integrated discharge straightening vanes.
Heavy-duty rotor and housing construction.
Typical Applications: Supply and exhaust air for ventilation of mines,
vehiculau tunnels, wind tunnels.
Heavy-Duty Controllable-Pitch Axial Flow Fans:
Description:
Controllable-pitch axial flow fan. Specific speed at best efficiency:
20,000 to 120,000 rpm (1400 to 8500 rpm SI).
Typical Applications: Supply air for combustion (forced draft) and exhaust
products of combustion (induced draft).
Heavy-Duty
Mixed-Flow Fans:
Description:
Variable-inlet vane controlled mixed-flow fan (combination of
radial and axial flow).
Typical Applications: Exhaust products of combustion (induced draft).
