Introduction Yesterday's controls worked well when they were designed - in many cases 20 to 30 years ago. Our customers tell us their concerns today are finding replacement parts and keeping the system operating efficiently, with repeatability. That's why we developed Graver WaterWorks System controls retrofits. Our express purpose is replacing obsolete and hard to replace controls with a new system designed to provide form, fit and function replacements. This is accomplished by incorporating tomorrow's control technology in an easy to install retrofit module today. The Graver WaterWorks System has the design credibility, field-proven reliability and flexibility to meet your control system needs regardless of system size. Our modular approach to controls retrofit allows you to get direct replacement of the controls you need, coupled with enhanced features that can improve system performance, optimize human factors, provide trend analysis and fit both your space requirements and your budget. Controls Retrofit Modules: Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) - Replacement of high maintenance or obsolete mechanical relays with solid-state logic provided by a PLC System. All automatic control functions, modulation of control variables, and analog set points are performed by the PLC. Human-Machine Interface (HMI) - Display of equipment status and indications of transmitted variables is provided on an industrial hardened personal computer (PC). All manual control functions, such as starting and stopping equipment, and opening and closing valves are performed via the HMI. Graver WaterWorks System - A control system that ia a combination of PLC programming with proprietary control algorithms, a PC based HMI, and a specific design, it can be adapted to control almost any kind of process no matter how simple or sophisticated it is.
