Electrodeionization (EDI) is a water treatment technology that is highly efficient and meets the most strigent environmental standards. Successful commercial applications date back to 1987. The process maintains the resins in a purified state, so hazardous caustic and acid regeneration chemicals aren't required. You can count on consistent water quality, month in and month out. Resins in EDI systems don't exhaust, unlike convential resin beds where quality begins to drop soon after regeneration.
